Impact Highlights

Education & Skills Development
More than 350 girls have been supported through formal education pathways:
  • 15 graduates hold bachelor’s degrees; 1 is currently at university
  • 54 girls completed vocational training, earning diplomas and professional certificates
  • 198 girls progressed through primary and secondary education
  • Many others continue advancing despite personal setbacks
Girls have also demonstrated leadership in schools and communities — including one elected Youth Councillor for Katanga, Makerere (2021).
Economic Empowerment & Independence
Women supported through the Drop-in Centre (DIC) have rebuilt their lives through sustainable livelihoods::
  • 1,259 women served through the DIC
  • 503 in stable employment
  • 286 self-employed
  • Others equipped with tertiary, entrepreneurial, and practical skills
Rahab Uganda’s income-generating business arm now provides jobs, including employment for six alumni.
Leadership, Service & Personal Growth
Survivors are not only rebuilding their lives — they are becoming leaders::
  • Alumni serving on the Rahab Uganda staff team and as volunteers
  • Leadership roles in churches as associate pastors, youth leaders, mentors, and worship leaders
  • 18 alumniemployed or mentored in anti-trafficking organizations
  • 1 alumna now a university lecturer
  • 4 alumni pursuing music careers through songwriting and recording
Advocacy & Community Transformation
Rahab Uganda’s prevention and awareness work has reached tens of thousands::
  • 80,000 stakeholders engaged through advocacy programs
  • 30,000+ anti-trafficking ambassadors trained in communities and schools
In 2020, Rahab Uganda contributed to the development of a national trafficking prevention training manual with the Uganda Police Force and Terre des Hommes Netherlands.
Sustainable Development Initiatives
Rahab Uganda’s prevention and awareness work has reached tens of thousands:
  • Acquisition of land for agricultural production
  • Livestock farming and plantain cultivation supporting programs and operations
Youth Empowerment & Migration Awareness
Through the Better Migration Management Project (2024–2025), youth in Mpigi District designed and implemented community Social Action Projects aligned with local government plans.Participants now serve as ongoing ambassadors for safe migration and policy awareness.
National & Regional Anti-Trafficking Leadership
Rahab Uganda plays a key role in shaping counter-trafficking efforts:
  • Active member of Uganda’s National Task Force on Counter-Trafficking in Persons
  • Support for repatriation of trafficked Ugandan girls from Oman, Kenya, UAE, and other countries
  • MoUs with regional and international partners for safe return and case referrals
  • Contributions to national victim protection guidelines and law enforcement training
